Programme:
This evening we invite you to get acquainted with one of the newest, recently built, theatres in The Netherlands, the new Amphion Theatre. This theatre is replacing the former Amphion Theatre. The management of the theatre in combination with the local authorities have been able over the years to accommodate the region with a wide range of theatre- and concert programming.

They have a proven very positive track record and ensured its existence.

The theatre has a real Multi Purpose character which led to the difficult task for the Acoustical Designer, Mr. Rob Dekker from LBP-Sight (Utrecht) and the Architects Francesco Veenstra and Niels Hoeve (Meccanoo Architects in Delft) to merge architectural creativity with theatre technologies into a contemporally looking building that functioned very well from day one. The theatre opened September 8th 2009. In order to optimize both halls for speech, drama  and a wide variation of musical performances an ACS enhancement system completed the multi-purpose acoustical package of the hall.

Access:
A Car Park is located underneath the theatre. For directions please refer to the map below.
